Formed under the grey, northern English skies, ivies have quickly made a name for themselves in Durham. The group jumped into the local music scene with high energy performances and catchy guitar riffs, now taking that to a national level.

ivies combine a variety of inspirations within the indie genre to create a catchy, energetic sound. They cite influence from the likes of Peach Pit, Two Door Cinema Club, and Soccer Mommy.

What's coming up
Ivies released their debut single 'sick for a week' in October 2023, receiving multiple BBC Radio 1 plays and being named the BBC Introducing Track of the Week.

Their second track, 'semi-detached' showed a different side to their sound, receiving more BBC Radio 1 airtime and a placement on the Student Radio Network's huge playlist.

They're looking forward to following this with multiple festival slots and new releases in the pipeline.
