ivies - 'sick for a week' and 'semi-detached'

Durham-based indie band 'ivies' released their debut single in October 2023. Their most recent track 'semi-detached' showed a different side to their songwriting and has followed 'sick for a week's success.

With BBC Radio 1 airtime, a huge Student Radio Network playlist placement, and regular gigs/festivals across the North East we're excited for what's to come.

Northern Kin Festival

We're excited to have worked with the Northern Kin Festival, bringing some incredibly talented emerging artists to the VIP stage.

Live Music

Live music has always been at the heart of Canary Records. Whether it's hosting sold-out club gigs or intimate acoustic nights, we aim to provide a platform for original music and hub for music-lovers to discover new artists.

05

NARC

We had the pleasure of being interviewed by NARC Magazine, an arts and culture magazine based in the North-East of England. We'd been fans of NARC for some time so it was a huge privilege to be their front page 'Focus' for the week.

Canary Records x Amnesty International

Working with Amnesty International was certainly an early highlight in the Canary Records history. We put on a gig at Fabio's that was attended by around 200 people, all in aid of Durham City of Sanctuary Charity. Certainly not one that we'll forget anytime soon.
